Hello again Best Del community!
This is my fourth time introducing myself because I’m just not ready to commit to a life without Best Delegate. My name is Sabrina Ostrowski and I am the Under Secretary-General for the European circuit!
I’m an International Management major with a minor in International Relations at McGill University…in Canada. So, why is a Canadian running the European circuit? My best guess is as good as yours. BUT…I’m a dual citizen of Poland and I’ve studied in Milan, which have both contributed to my involvement in youth diplomacy on the continent. My delegate days are however over and so I’ve transitioned into advisory positions.
In my MUN career I’ve participated in over 25 conferences, as a Head Delegate, delegate, staff, and Secretariat member…so I’ve pretty much done it all. I had the chance to sit on the McMUN 2013 Secretariat as the Director of Public Relations through which I founded the MUN League initiative, enabling cross-conference collaboration throughout the world. My international delegating experienced definitely peaked during my two participations to WorldMUN (Taipei 2010, Singapore 2011), where I put to use my specialty areas: nuclear weapons and terrorism. Shortly thereafter I had the honour to partake in the 2013 Youth G8 Summit in London, UK as the Minister of Defense of the Canadian delegation (shout out to that team of studs). A week’s worth of discussions with youth ministers from G8 and G20 countries culminated in the signing of a Final Communique which was then presented to leaders of the respective nations.

My main primary task this year as USG European Circuit is to promote the dynamic growth of its Model UN circuit. Our team of highly qualified individuals will cover the different regions and levels expanding in the area and hope to decisively bring the Best Delegate touch across the pond.
